ICE FISHING DERBY

Each year, the Sebago Lake Rotary Club hosts the Ice Fishing Derby Fest

on Sebago Lake .  Designed as a fish management project in 2001 the DerbyFest has grown into a significant winter event impacting local charities, regional tourism and the local economy.  The Ice Fishing Derby is a major fundraiser that benefits such charities as Camp Sunshine , DARE, Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, Maine Children’s Cancer Program along with many others.  The event has grown into a nationally recognized event with one publication naming it amongst the top ten Ice Fishing Derbies.

This is Maine’s richest and largest Ice Fishing Derby.

We invite you to participate in our upcoming Sebago Lake Ice Fishing Derbies. 

Sebago Lake Derby - Feb 18-19, 2012

• Ice Fishing weigh stations open 7AM - 5pm each day
• Polar dip - Sat Feb 18 @ 10AM
• Snowmobile Speed Runs - Sun Feb 19 @10AM

Kids Fishing Derby Feb 18th

• Range Pond State Park - Poland ME 8AM - Noon
• Free Ice Fishing Equipment for first 500 kids!

Statewide Ice Fishing Derby  March 3 -4, 2012

• Ice Fishing weigh stations open 7AM - 5PM each day
• Over 20 weigh stations accross the state of Maine
